Contract Clarity
We work with you and your chosen builder to create a robust and fair contract, clearly defining the scope of work, timelines, and responsibilities. We can even professionally draft the construction contract for you.
Step 2:
Secure Escrow
You deposit the agreed project funds into our ring-fenced client account (escrow). Your money is safe and only released to the builder when each stage of work is completed to your satisfaction.
Step 3:
Staged Payments
We manage the payment schedule, ensuring your builder is paid fairly and promptly upon successful completion of agreed milestones. No more unrealistic payment demands or worries about overpaying.
Step 4:
Expert Support
Our team, with legal training and construction experience, is on hand to guide you through every step, from initial planning to project completion. We will also ensure that the Building Regulations are adhered to.
Step 5:
Dispute Resolution
If disagreements arise, we offer expert mediation to help find a resolution quickly and amicably. Should further action be needed, we provide access to a robust and timely dispute resolution scheme that includes mediation, adjudication, and arbitration through our partnership with CEDR, a leading ADR provider for construction disputes. Please note that there may be additional costs involved with ADR and mediation, which we will explain fully upfront.
